Terms of Service
Effective July 16, 2026
The deal
Emberby (emberby.com) lets you share small plans with people you trust. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16.
This is a beta
Emberby is an early product run by a small team. Features may change or break, and in rare cases data may be lost or reset. We’ll treat your data with care (see the Privacy Policy), but please don’t rely on Emberby as the only record of anything important.
Your account
Sign in with your own email or your own Google account, and keep your sign-in codes to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens through your account. One account per person.
Be decent
Don’t use Emberby to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate anyone, or for anything illegal. Plans are shared with a trusted circle — don’t republish other people’s plans, addresses, or names outside the app. No scraping, spamming, or attempts to break the service or access data that isn’t yours.
Your content
Plans and details you post stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them to the people your audience settings allow — that’s all we do with them.
Meeting people in real life
Emberby helps people meet up in the real world. We don’t vet attendees or venues and aren’t responsible for what happens at a plan. Use the same judgment you’d use with any invitation.
Ending things
You can delete your account any time in Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
The legal bits
Emberby is provided “as is”, without warranties, and our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA — if you live in the EU, you keep any protections your local consumer law gives you that can’t be waived. If we change these terms materially, we’ll update this page and its date and let you know.
